One more thing.

I guess I'm a little video happy today. Just one of the many reasons How I Met Your Mother is amazing.

Various Things I Happen to Love: 2 (Music)

So I just stumbled across an album the other day that I am totally enthralled with at the moment and just wanted to share. Paolo Nutini, that Scottish cutie of "New Shoes" fame, recently released his second album, Sunny Side Up, and it basically beats the pants off his first one. His style is all over the place, from pop to folk to calypso to country, but that's what makes the album so fantastic and listen-able. You know how when you get a new CD (well not the CD itself persay, but the MP3s for your iPod...not sure how many people actually go out and buy CDs anymore) you like maybe half of the songs at best and skip the other ones you don't like when you listen to it? I hate that. There aren't many albums that I've found easy and enjoyable to listen to all the way through, but I definitely can with this one. Here's a brief list of some other albums on my current rotation that are, in my opinion, easy to listen to all the way through:

Band of Horses "Everything All the Time"
Fleet Foxes "Fleet Foxes"
Bon Iver "For Emma, Forever Ago"/"Blood Bank" EP
"Away We Go" Soundtrack
"(500) Days of Summer" Soundtrack
Cat Power "The Greatest"
Either "Elizabethtown" Soundtrack (I'm absolutely OBSESSED with that movie)

Check out this video for the song "Candy" from Paolo Nutini's new album, one of the sweetest songs, and videos, I've seen in a long time:

Oh, and I just came across a great band called Mumford and Sons, give a listen to "White Blank Page" on their myspace. Awesome stuff!

Hope you all enjoyed your Wednesday! Stay classy, San Diego.

Oy. Long time no...blog.

So I find it pretty ironic that I just wrote a blog entry about blogging more and then promptly ceased to blog! Oops. Well, lots to report, all of which I do not have time for at the moment, but here's the reader's digest version. Gabe and I went down to Virginia and North Carolina this past week. The first stop to see the lovely Miss Kathryn Gwaltney (who gets a whole blog entry to herself soon...it's hard to describe in a few short sentences how much I love that woman) and the next stop to do some sight-seeing and, looking around, we'll call it. More to come on that soon too. We walked in the door at about midnight last night and then at around 10 this morning walked right back out of it to go shoot the lovely Allyson. She's going to be a graduating gal soon and asked me to take her senior pictures! Naturally, I was honored to do so, so here's a sneak peek (just couldn't wait to get to work on these!) of her beautiful self. Check back in a week or so to see the rest!

Cheers.
